Dear Friends and Family,

Psalms 105 starts out by saying, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the people. Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works. Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord.” The Lord is definitely worthy of all glory especially from the Sykes household. Every time we turn around He is making Himself known to us, and showing Himself strong! We want to thank Him for blessing us and for lighting our paths.

Praise the Lord for another mission conference at the beginning of June. Our travel schedule continues to fill up and as a result I was able to quit my job a month earlier than anticipated.  We are so excited to start deputation full time and are also excited to be able to put a lot more time into calling pastors on a daily basis. The Lord has definitely been good to us. The Lord has filled our schedule with wonderful meetings. We have several meetings spread out through the fall and winter and hope to schedule many more.

The boys are growing like weeds and they keep us laughing! Luke is almost 7 months and is totally content with absolutely anything. Sam is 26 months old and loves his baby brother. They love to get each other laughing in the back seat of the car, and it will turn into a laughing marathon! Sam has also memorized his second Bible verse, Ephesians 6:1. We want the boys to memorize lots of scripture so that the Holy Spirit can use the Word in their life. 

Please pray as we begin our deputation full time that the Lord will continue to give us meetings and traveling mercies. Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer, we know that it is through the prayers of God’s people that much is accomplished. Thank you for partnering with us in taking the gospel to Venezuela.
