God is so good!

I will mention the loving kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD hath bestowed on us . . . (Isaiah 63:7a). God certainly has been good to us, and we always want to take the opportunity to
praise Him for His goodness and mercy. It truly is an honor and privilege to be a child of the King! Even more than that is the fact that He loves us just as much as He loves His own Son! (John 17:23). 

Missionary Contact

Praise the Lord we had the opportunity to talk with a missionary from Venezuela on Saturday, August 16th. Many of our concerns and questions were put to rest as we were able to speak freely about some of the political concerns. Things are difficult in Venezuela, but certainly not impossible. Less than 1% of the population has been reached with the gospel, and we must reach them before it is too late. Prayer is still a vital part of our entrance into Venezuela, so please continue to pray for us.

Good Baby Reports!

We went to Sarah’s doctor a couple of weeks ago and received good reports. Both baby and mommy are doing wonderfully. Mommy has her occasional bout with nausea, which will hopefully begin to subside as she nears the 3 month mark. The doctor did an ultrasound and as we watched the screen we were able to see the baby’s heart beat and it almost looked like the baby was waving at us! It was very cute.

Added Support

We had another blessing this month as 3 new churches have partnered with us to take the gospel to Venezuela. We are truly thankful for the added prayer and financial support. It was quite an unexpected blessing to see 3 churches added in the same month and we want to give God the praise. We also thank you for your sacrifices, both physical and spiritual and thank you for your investment in our lives. Full Schedule Please pray for us  as we enter the fall mission conference season. In the months of September and October we are in several missions conferences. In fact, there will be very few days that we are home. Please pray that we have traveling safety as we go from church to church. We are excited about the opportunity to share our burden for Venezuela and to have the  opportunity to minister to others as we travel. Both Sarah and I were strongly influenced towards missions at a very young age as a result of our christian education. Our prayer is that as we travel and share our burden, young hearts might be touched and a new generation of missionaries will surrender their lives to serve Christ and take the gospel throughout the world.

Ministry DVD

This month we had some added time at home. During that time we had the opportunity to compile a new ministry DVD. Although our goals for ministry in Venezuela have not changed, we felt it necessary to address our response to the current political situation since it has changed drastically. 

Prayer Requests

• Please continue about the political situation in Venezuela.
• Pray for the believers who are currently in Venezuela.
• Pray for continued safety as we travel.
• Pray that both our prayer and financial support would be raised quickly so that we can reach the     people of Venezuela very soon!
• Pray for the opportunity to reach lost souls!
