    Fun at the Farm!

That I may publish wit the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all thy wondrous works (Psalm 26:7).  Some of the most amazing times on deputation are the times when the Lord provides the unexpected blessings that are such an encouragement.  We experienced one of those blessings this past month while at a missions conference in Indiana.  If you have ever met my son Samuel you know that the word “tractor” is one of the foundational words in his vocabulary.  He talks constantly about riding on the tractor with his papa (which is a lawn tractor).  This last month the Lord orchestrated it so that we stayed with the Starkey family in Indiana. It is no coincidence that God allowed us to stay with them so that Sam could ride in a big John Deere tractor, and both the boys could help feed the cows.  It warms our hearts as parents to see God bless our family and especially our children. It is just another affirmation of His immense love for us and desire to bless us!  He truly is a good Daddy! Thanks so much Dave and Cindy for your wonderful hospitality!

    Missionary Encounters

We have seen over and over how important the deputation process is in preparing us for the field.  Last month we were able to report that we had the opportunity to sit down with a missionary currently serving in Venezuela.  He helped by answering many of the questions that we had. God did it again this month! We were able to sit down with another missionary and his wife who served in Venezuela for over 20 years and they too were able to help and encourage us. Throughout our conversation it was truly evident that their hearts were still in Venezuela. God continues to surprise us along the way as we travel by bringing people along our path to help prepare us for service.

    The Wheels on the Van

Thank you so much for your prayers.  We are in the full swing of conference season and we are on the road nearly every weekend. When you spend as much time on the road as we do it doesn’t take long to realize that it is the prayers of God’s people that protect and sustain us in our travels.

    Thank You!

Our sincerest thanks for your continued faithful prayer and financial support. We desire to be good stewards of the investment you have made in our lives. We can see over and over that God continues to answer your prayers and ours as well.

    Sharing Our Faith

We are constantly seeking new ways as a family to be more evangelistic.  Recently the Lord has burdened our hearts to put together a simple, inexpensive, business card size tract that we can hand out while we are traveling. Pray that this tract would impact hearts for Christ and that we would have the opportunity to see spiritual fruit from this endeavor.

    Prayer Requests

  • Pray for a full spring schedule for us and continued safety in travels
  • Pray for the salvation of lost souls both here and Venezuela
  • Pray for missionaries currently serving in Venezuela

Praise the Lord we are currently
at 25% of our needed support.
Please continue to pray for us
